Great service when we hired a WHEELCHAIR accessible people mover / van. They explained very well how to use the wheelchair lift, vehicle was lovely to drive and had awesome air conditioning for our passengers in the back. After hours drop off is handy too.
DON’T RENT HERE. I’m backpacker and last year I rented a car for a night. I told them I would return the car the day after late afternoon, they told me they would charge me one day but at the end the charged me for an extra night, saying it was a big misunderstanding, a language barrier and it was my bad. I swear that night was my only day off since while so I’m sure i asked twice about the return. They take advanta on backpackers and travellers

I strongly advise others to avoid this rental company.
If anything goes wrong, you’ll be left stranded, unsupported, and then charged for things they refuse to investigate properly. There are much more professional and responsible rental services out there.
*I recently rented a 2024 model vehicle (under 15,000 km) from this company and had a terrible experience. While driving under completely normal conditions on a sealed public road — no speeding, swerving, or off-road activity — both the left tires suddenly burst, with visible sidewall damage. The car became unstable and lightly scraped a roadside barrier as a result.
Despite purchasing insurance, I was charged $300 as a deposit and $150 for damages. I understand that road hazards can occasionally occur, but a simultaneous double tire failure — especially on a new vehicle — is extremely rare and should have triggered a proper investigation. Instead, the company blamed me without offering any proof or transparency.
The situation was made worse by how the emergency response was handled.
We were stranded in a remote area, and while we were initially told that someone would be sent to pick us up, we were later told:
"We couldn’t find anyone. Just get a taxi yourself."
This left us completely on our own.
We received little to no guidance regarding how to coordinate roadside assistance. I had to spend hours on the phone going back and forth between providers, simply because the company failed to give us basic information.
When I followed up to ask for clarification and accountability, I was met with dismissive and rude responses, such as:
“I’m not going to keep going back and forth with you,” and “we didn't charge you a lot.”
They also claimed that I never informed them of the scrape to the front of the car — despite the fact that I clearly did so during the phone call.
Later, they sent me a photo of the damaged tire and claimed that a “professional” had determined it was due to external impact. However, they failed to provide any formal report, explanation, or even a theory of what caused such damage — or how both tires failed simultaneously.
Even if the damage was from external force, it could have been due to a manufacturing defect, improper maintenance, or even prior customer damage. As a renter, I can’t be expected to inspect tire integrity before each drive — that’s their job.
This entire experience — from vehicle failure, to poor roadside assistance, to condescending follow-up — shows a clear pattern of neglect and blame-shifting.

No issues with the hire process, easy pick up and drop off. We got the cheapest option and the brakes were a bit flimsy. The car had done around 150k. Not sure if this is the way the car is built or due to wear and tear. Overall a good experience and friendly service too.
Smooth pickup and return, prices were very reasonable and the car was really clean and drove well

During the Easter break in Cairns, car availability was extremely limited, but Mini car Rentals came through with a vehicle for me within just 1–2 hours. Their team was friendly, provided helpful local tips, maps, and made communication super easy. The included pickup service was excellent and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Well maintained cars from a local family owned company, great value and pickup and drop off from cruise terminal was available.
Great price compared to the big players . Helpful and honest advice . Zero excess meant peace of mind. A clean safe and reliable Kia Piccanto was great. Hired for 2 days , great on fuel: only cost $60 for the 2 days. Our daughter hired here a few years ago , and recommended it, and we now too recommend it.
So friendly and helpful, they were the ONLY affordable place in Cairns where we were able to hire a car without a credit card (we only had debit cards) and on such short notice too (less than a week before we arrived, and during school holiday period, so very busy). Despite this they made what was potentially a stressful situation very easy and calm, the pick-up and drop off of the car was hassle-free and we loved our tiny little Kia, it got us up to Cape Tribulation and around Cairns no problem.

Genuine, very friendly staff. Car was good for the price (mx5). After hours drop off was very convenient. Would use the Service again.
Staff were excellent and helpful. Car was clean, good condition, reasonably new with free pickup from our hotel and offered drop off on return. Was only disappointed with the proposed excess if we were to rent an MX5 which would have been a blast around the FNQ coastal roads.

After having some trouble with another hire company I rang mini car rentals from cairns airport extremely last minute. They collected us from the airport in 15 minutes.We hired an MG suv. Very clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not the best selection of car/ child seats but that might have been because i didn’t book ahead. Can’t thank them enough for helping me out.

We had a great experience with them. The booking process was smooth, the car was in excellent condition, and everything went exactly as it should. The staff were friendly, professional, and really helpful, making the whole process hassle-free. The only downside was that the car had the company’s name plastered all over it, which made us stand out as tourists a bit too much. In some areas, that can make you an easy target, so it would’ve been nice to have a more discreet option. Other than that, everything was spot on, and we’d happily use them again.
My experience dealing with Mini Car Rentals was very good from the time l received the rental car to the time l we were dropped of at the Cairns airport by the company. I hired a car from Mini Car Rentals and was very pleased with the service and price. The MG was great to drive and the personalised service is always excellent. I like that Mini Car is a family run business and that I could support them instead of one of the big operators. Highly recommend using Mini Car rentals when you need a car whilst in the Cairns area.

Absolutely excellent customer service. Only marked down a star as the car I got was rather old and had 174k km on the clock however I did ask for a manual. Really good communication and 24 hour access to allow drop off out of hours.

Mini car rentals made it very easy to rent a car. They picked us up from the hotel and took us to collect the car. The paperwork was seamless and the staff were great. We had a very new Toyota Yaris and drove to Pt Douglas for the day. I would thoroughly recommend Mini Car Rentals.
We didn’t rent a car, but went there to leave our luggage for a while. The staff was really friendly, and one of them stay there the whole time, so don’t worry about the things getting lost or stolen. What we appreciated most was how much they helped when my friend left her phone in the Uber. They assisted us with calling the Uber and helped us find ways to track it down. We can’t thank them enough!

My husband and I rented bikes for five days while visiting Cairns. The staff were very courteous and answered all of our many questions. It was nice they provided us with a map and pointed out some highlights to take in. The bikes were easy to ride and we had baskets in front so we could store our purchases that we bought along our travels. And the price per day was very reasonable compared to other places we rented from over the years. We highly recommend this business!

My friend rents a car here last week recommends me to go and get a mini rental for me and my kids called the place paid the initial price, walked in a lovely gentleman, kind, welcoming and friendly explains the terms of the renting the car, I was looking to have the same type of rental as my friend unfortunately I couldn't access my DL, but later got it, walked late back in, the late middle aged lady explained to me the terms again but this time they were different, I asked her why it was different from my friend and what the other gentleman had explained to me she said it wasn't, I tried confirming to her by calling my friend, but then she gaslighted me by saying I was giving her grief!!! I kept my calm expressed my displeasure because I could clearly articulate what she was saying but either due to her bias she couldn't understand what I was asking, asked to have a refund she said I couldn't get the full refund due to wasting her time !!!! all while maintaining my calm. no foul language, she even proceeded to ask me if I actually had the money to go ahead with the transaction, treating me as if I was dumb or stupid and couldn't understand simple terms of business / customer service, all while I was there with my kids I hope and pray they never get to experience this kind condescending treatment from ignorant people like her.

Very helpful with touring information. Car was clean and tidy and went well. Highly recommended as the price was very reasonable.
I visited several rental shops around me, and this was the place where I could rent a variety of car models at the most reasonable prices. In addition, the staff is friendly and explains the various options in detail, as well as tourist attractions that can be reached by car, so if you want to rent a car in Cairns, I recommend going here.
The Salesman was excellent. Very obliging. He delivered the car to the cruise terminal the night before so we had a quick exit to Port Douglas. Totally recommend using them.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with this luggage storage company. My family and I, while in Australia, needed a place to leave our bags for a few hours. I found their website, which clearly stated a rate of $4 per day. Trusting this information, I entered my details, left the luggage at the designated location, and everything seemed fine.
However, at the end of the day, I was charged almost double the amount! It was only then that I realized the rate shown on their website was in USD, not AUD. This crucial detail was not clearly communicated, making the pricing extremely misleading.
Such deceptive practices left us feeling cheated and frustrated. If they operate internationally, they must ensure their pricing reflects the local currency or at least clearly indicate otherwise.
To anyone considering using their services: be very careful and double-check the fine print. What seems like an affordable option might cost you much more than you expect.

They provide luggage storage and we were scammed, because the mention prices are in US dollars, so it’s much more that you’re supposed to pay, and they didn’t mention anything about it, even when confronted directly. Please find another place to leave your luggage. Not recommend!
Last month, I rented a car using this mini car rental company. At the end of my study abroad in Australia, I took a trip to Cairns before returning to Japan.
The Chinese woman at the reception was kind enough to recommend some spots.
Then, on the night before I returned home, before I could return my car, my bag was stolen and the keys to my rental car were also stolen. Even though it was night, when I contacted them by phone, the father and son who run the hotel came right away and took me to the hotel. I felt very anxious, but he spoke kind words to me. He didn't seem like a business person, but was really kind and heartfelt.
Even though it was stolen, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of everyone at the mini car rental, it became a great memory. Thank you very much.

I rented it for just one day during my trip. I went to the store without a reservation and was worried whether I would be able to rent it, but the very kind staff helped me and I was able to rent it perfectly!

Service was great, called on the day for a car and 15 minutes later I had one. Provided good advice on places to visit and finished the service with a trip to the airport. Better price than the usual rental establishments.
Phoebe was very patient and helpful answering a lot of questions from us. Mike was very friendly picking us from the hotel to the company to sign the contract. We forgot our phone in the car and Mitch delivered it to our hotel. We have also got our deposit back. Thank you all and we def recommend this family local business 🙂
Had a nice walk to the shop and found it very easy to rent a car for the day. The agent at the counter was very nice and courteous and was happy to provide options as we asked about the different ones. It was a very simple process to hire the car, get a quick understanding of the car and any pre-existing damages and easy to drop it off. Whilst the shop is not 24 hours, we were provided instructions on how to drop it off after office hours. I then received my deposit refund and all is well!

I used it when my family went on vacation to Cairns in October 2024. I made a reservation online in advance based on the information on YouTube that there was a Japanese staff member, but when I went there, he was not present.
Although it was in English, the instructions were easy to understand and thorough, and I was able to complete the procedure without any problems.
When I returned it, they immediately sent me to the airport for $20 (regardless of the number of people), which was very helpful.

Busy time of the year. My general car agency let me down and couldn't offer me an alternative. Minicar was able to find something for me on short notice. So great I'd recommend them.
Really disappointed at the customer service when I arrived. The lady was hasty and confused and they promised me proper guidance of my route north and they didn't deliver. I had to figure everything out myself w help from a lady at a new destination which I was lucky to have been there for me. It's pretty dangerous to not have maps handy for a first timer. Really really poor and unsafe service. I will never use this service again.

The rental car shop was friendly and friendly, and although it wasn't always there, there were working holiday Japanese staff, and conversation was smooth, and the vehicle I rented was brand new and I had a comfortable trip.
I don’t recommend itFirstly, we booked the cat for a specific day and just realize they got it wrong and gave it a different day. We got an old car because the battery stopped suddenly out of nowhere and in our way back to the city to repost the gasoline, the battery stopped working in a traffic light in the middle of nowhere. Was picked up from my hotel to the rental agency to sign appropriate forms. Everyone I encountered was courteous and friendly. Explanation nice and simple. I knew they could be trusted. They upgraded me to a bigger car without extra charge so am grateful for that.
This business provides unbelievable service. They collected me at my hotel and took me to their office where we did the paperwork and I took the car for three days.

Good location within walking distance of Cairns City Center. Clean reasonably priced rental cars. Appreciate the accommodations they made to fit our travel plans. Thank you!
Everything was decent and quick, the people were nice and friendly. One issue to beware of though is the kilometre limit which is not stated on the website as far as I could see, or the confirmation email. (Edit: it is actually on the website but I do think it could be stated more clearly in multiple places, and the below still holds true, you're better off just getting the bigger car with unlimited kilometres).
It seems on some of the smaller cars you are only allowed 60km/day of hire. And we were only told this when we got there to pick the car up, and were given the option to add unlimited kilometres for $20/day.

Great service from Mini car rentals. We were collected at the domestic airport after only. 10-15 min wait which was great. The car we had was very new and great condition. We had to return the car out of hours which was very easy via gate and drop box. It cost us $180 for 2 days hire which was about $50 cheaper than the bigger companies. Would 100% recommend.

I rented a car twice from Mini Car Rentals. I had no issues with them or with the cars and was provided with great customer service. They are very responsive, have great rates and it was easy to return the cars on both occasions at night in the City. If returning to Cairns, I’d rent a car from them again. Walked through the door to inquire and found the staff (Phoebe) both professional and knowledgeable, providing us with some ideas for places to visit on our trip. Had us sorted with a car with 15mins, keys in hand and off we went. So easy! Our experience one the road though was somewhat different whereby a semitrailer driver tried to run us off the road after sitting on our tail for quite a long way, and I mean withing metres. Lovely service. The lady took the time to not only ensure what I needed to know about the rental but also some advice, tips and maps on my visit.
Car nice and clean and in great condition. Car delivered with full tank so no faffing about to find a petrol station in a car I hadn't driven before in a country don't live in with the red light on! When handed back even drove me to the airport! You won't find better or more pleasant service.

We noticed that other so-called 'cheaper' car rental places often charge by the kilometre and have other hidden costs, but at this place, rate for the one day was simple and transparent without hidden add-on charges. Unfortunately, there were no staff members who could speak Japanese, so I was nervous because I wanted to ask them a lot of questions, but I got a map and started reading the guidebook written in Japanese for return instructions and precautions.

Also, the only disappointing thing was that I rented a MAZDA CX3, but there was something like an oil film on the windshield, so I had to use the air conditioner and wipers in the rain to prevent the glass from fogging up, which made it hard to see. Ta. It was especially difficult to see at night.

Book directly from Japan via the homepage.
When I checked in, the Japanese girl from YouTube wasn't there, but the friendly store staff helped me out.
I was told that the grade I had reserved was not available, so I prepared a car that was a step up.
The car looks like a Niconico rental car in Japan.
There are a few small scratches and dents that I personally don't care about.
The store clerk at that time may have some scratches, too! (That's how I understood it based on my English ability.)
Nowadays, I use a tablet to take pictures of the condition before I leave, so I feel more at ease.
A Japanese girl was there when I returned it.
Return with confidence.
The day after Green Island tour
I decided to rent it here for one more day.
The service took me to the hotel.

Renting a Car have never been that easy. Booked it and pay it up online. Went in the next day and Clayton (I think his name was?) was such a good sport, managed to give ideas where to go, what to do in each areas I was aiming to go. The car I rented was Auto Hyundai, and it was smooth to drive with. Could tell they really look after their vehicles. The car got no problem whatsoever. 10/10 would recommend.

Well every interaction with people from mini car rentals was fantastic. The car they provided us was in great condition. It was clean, well maintained and fairly new models. I book two different cars for two days. They also fixed my wrong booking without any extra charges. I won’t hesitate to book car from them again. In summary here are reasons.

The staff of Mini Car Rentals were always very professional and friendly when I contacted them re renting a vehicle to drive to tourist attractions near Cairns. This car hire company offers relatively inexpensive car hire in Cairns and the staff are very friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when a Japanese person whose English is not so good suddenly visited them to make a reservation. We used the car to enjoy Atherton Tablelands and Palonera Park. The information given by the staff was useful. We also appreciated the system that allowed us to return the car outside of office hours. Furthermore, we receive e-mails every step of the way with booking details and insurance correspondence.

we hired a car with mini car rentals for a couple of days last week after picking up their brochure from our accommodation southern cross atrium apartments in cairns. i actually called them as i find it much more personal as not very 'online' with many things. we rang just on closing time but it was still no trouble to take our booking and we were also fortunate to be picked up from our accommodation and taken to the depot to collect our car by mike who also took us back after we returned the car. the car was great and overall the process was so very efficient and friendly by all staff that helped us. would definately use again and recommend to anyone. sorry i cant remember everyones name there at mini but thank you so much to all for looking after us. loved our stay in cairns, now back in somewhat colder geelong! tracy and robbie.

My wife & I hired a MG Auto Hatch from Mini Car Rentals for five days. The MG they gave was nearly new and a great little car to drive. The staff there are very friendly & helpful, they picked us and all our luggage up from the airport & took us back to their office to do all the paperwork which was quite simple. I had a very positive experience renting a car from Mini Car Rentals on a walk-in basis. The staff member, Phoebe, was friendly and professional. She clearly explained the availability of cars and pricing details, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. On the day of the rental, Phoebe explained the features of the car in detail and made sure we were comfortable driving it before we left the lot. I especially loved how neat their paperwork was before and after the rental service.

Despite many ads about luxury car rental brands at the airport like Sixt , Hernz , Eurocars , I had a Great experience with Mini car rentals . Phoebe is an amazing customer service representative. Super nice and polite and she explained a lot about sightseeing in Cairns like a tour leader and she gave us discount vouchers too . Excellent customer service from Phoebe( very patient and recommend lots of places to go around) , also Clay and Mitch! Very convenient location and even better they offer free pick up the airport which makes it much easier for the trip. They even gave us a lift to the bus stop afterwards.
We hired a car for the day and they couldn’t have been anymore helpful.. gave us a map with recommendations and we had a fantastic day!! The car we originally booked wasn’t up the their standard so we were upgraded for no extra cost . Great company to deal with.

I went to the shop on the day without a reservation, but they said that they were all renting out and that there was only a large car that could seat 8 people. When I was very worried, the Japanese staff consulted with the store manager, and the car that was scheduled to be sent for inspection was delayed by one day with special consideration, and I was able to borrow the car. .

Great friendly service. They helped me out last minute with a car and gave me a 15% discount, the vehicle was one of their older fleet. They were kind enough to give me a ride to get my car as my child was asleep in the rental. I feel the price was a bit on the high end when there are better prices per day with other competitors.

Everyone here is so friendly! I realised quickly after arriving in Cairns that the public infrastructure in FNQ is non-existent, and one of the tourist info places recommended Mini Car Rentals. Phoebe patiently answered all my questions (and multiple calls!) whilst I tried to decide on dates. The car I ended up getting was great and so fuel efficient. A smooth ride that took me to many beautiful places! I wouldn't hesitate to use this team again. I did a quick check against a couple of the bigger providers and Mini Car Rentals was a lot cheaper. Highly recommended.

I called at 10 mins before closing time the day before to book for my family including 2 car seats and they had the car ready first thing the following day, easy to deal with, they even offered me a lift back to my hotel. Easy booking, competitive prices, friendly staff, easy pickup and return. Cherry on top is that we could return the car outside of their opening hours, which was a huge benefit as we didn't need to rush to drop the car of.

The customer service from start to finish was excellent for this small business and the car hire prices and add ons were very price competitive. The car we used was relatively old with existing cosmetic damages but it was very fuel efficient (Hyundai Accent), so it served our purposes fine. The free customer pick-up service is a definite bonus and the $20 fee for optional airport transfer is convenient and more economical than catching a taxi. We definitely recommend this business to anyone and we would use them again if we find ourselves in Cairns again.
We rented two cars and each time they picked us up from the hotel and dropped us back once when we returned the vehicle. The other time we returned it after hours so they gave us the code for the security gate. Everyone was helpful and cheerful and we really enjoyed our experience there. The cars were reasonably priced and lived up to expectations. They even leant us umbrellas each time. Would definitely rent from them again.

Really enjoyed using Mini Car Rentals. Transfer to/ from the airport was easy and they're only a 15 minute drive away. The car was great and perfect for what we needed. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone travelling to Cairns.

We were just looking for a 1day car hire and Mini car rentals was the perfect spot for us. We even could drop off the car after hours which was perfect for us. Excellent, efficient service. Friendly staff. Good advice on locations to visit. We were collected from our hotel. As with any car/ vehicle hire you have a high insurance excess, however for slightly more money you can lower that cost substantially. At the time, an additional 23aud reduced the excess from 3000-300 aud.
If we returned the car in office hours the company would take us back to the hotel, but not guaranteed. It was only a short walk for us but worth considering when you rent. The car was quite damaged but ran very well and had good aircon, which we really appreciated on such a hot day.

Overall experience was good. The car (Hyundai i30) was ready for pick-up on the day we booked the car. It was clean, neat and tidy. I thought the price a little expensive, but it is what it is.
The service here is top class. We hired a small kia picanto for the day and couldn't be happier. It was in great condition and had android auto. The lovely receptionist gave us a great recommendation for lunch at Palm Cove, and made sure we knew where we were going.

Rented a MG SUV from mini car rentals in Cairns. First of all, big thanks to Jacob for his friendliness and great services. Car pick up was smooth and fast. The car was pretty new and clean. Returning the car was alps a breeze. Would definitely use them again if I visit Cairns.
Fast friendly & efficient service from the staff, couldn't beat their price anywhere else & the vehicle was in perfect well maintained condition inside & out. We were not held up for long before leaving & the drop off was just as fast. The $20 service to the Airport was also very quick and easy. I was initially hesitant about booking as it was not part of the big rentals. But the big rentals were so expensive for such a small amount of time. I had read some great reviews about the place and decided to take the risk. I was SO happy with the service, price and most importantly, the Car. We arrived in Cairns and wanted to do the Waterfall tour and when we got the car, the awesome lady behind the counter showed us the best places with directions. She also showed us the local waterfall Crystal Cascades. This was amazing.
The price was at least 50 cheaper every day than the big rentals and the car was good. It definitely did the job perfectly as a drive around for Cairns. I will gladly come back and use this company again. Great work!!

The guys at Mini Car Rentals were amazing. We picked the car up in the morning and the crew there told us about many cool places to go and visit throughout Cairns. I also mentioned I was on my way to buy sunscreen and out of nowhere one of the guys provided me with a bottle they had there, amazing. I couldn't recommend these guys enough!!

Easy booking process and wonderful staff. Car was in excellent clean condition and the ability to drop off after hours was extremely helpful, they also picked us up from our accommodation. Staff were extremely helpful with maps and local tips off great places to eat etc.
Excellent service. Mike even offered to drive me back to the resort as Taxi service is scarce in Cairns. I also made a last minute car swapping with them. All staff were friendly and welcoming. They are very easy-going people and the prices are just reasonable, not as greedy as those big players. The venue is close to the CBD and within nice walking distance when you are not in hurry. Will definitely use them again next time.
We had a great experience w mini cars! We paid a visit to the shop feeling hopeless we would find any available car as it was high season (and the other obvious car rentals had none), however we were lucky enough to secure a vehicle for a day as someone had returned theirs earlier.

Great company for car rental. Phoebe and Michael were extremely friendly and provided great customer service with the car pick up and return. Paperwork was easy and they were helpful with recommending places to visit in the area. Great prices on their cars too!
Booked fairly last minute and they were very accommodating and able to provide us with the 2 cars needed + car seats for the younger kids. Very very reasonably priced which was a bonus! Only downfall was that we had to wait for the previous renter to return the vehicle before we could be on our way - although this is not their fault. They were quick to get us on our way once the vehicle arrived.

This is a small family run business.They are really friendly and caring tram of people. I really loved how they really cared about the places we wanted to see in Cairns and gave us tips and even brochures with maps. The price was really reasonable and they even offered pick up and drop off at the airport. I definitely will use them again and recommend it to all my friends and family too.

Great family owned business. They were so easy to deal with. We booked a car the afternoon before and turned up in the morning with it all sorted. We had our car for a day and they have 24/7 drop off service so we could maximise our day and dropped it back after dinner. We compared this to one of the big companies who we had to drop it back by 3pm which really would have limited our trip. Mitch on the front counter was so helpful and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what we should check out on our way. Thanks so much guys! We’ll happily recommend you in the future.

Really great service. We booked in the morning and just over an hour later were picking up the car. It was really cheap and the service was really friendly. It was nice to support a local business too rather than one of the big car hire places. They also gave us a lift back to the airport in the morning for $15 (far cheaper than a taxi)
Very friendly and helpful staff. I didn’t have my wallet on me, so didn’t have hard copies of license and bank card. But unlike larger hire car chains, I was able to use electronic copies to prove my identity and pay/hold my bank details. I needed to extend my car hire twice, both times it was very easy and handled very professionally.

Great service - near new car, clean and very reasonable priced rental. Family run business. The team were helpful - giving us advice on our travel plans; were timely with their free pick up/ drop off service; and were very accommodating when our dates changed due to airline changes. Highly recommended!
Fantastic local businesses. I rented a new 2021 Hyundai i30 (great car by the way) in December - January peak season and they offered the best rates in Town. Many places in Cairns advertise as having cheapest rates but you are up for a surprise when you call in the peak season, but not the Mini car rentals (I was pleasantly surprised when they offered almost half the rate compared to others). Customer service was above and beyond. The lady at the counter was very helpful (she even provided us with travel maps, recommended destinations etc which was helpful). Highly recommended.

This was value for money. We rented a 7 seater - it was clean (not perfect) but did the job and was well worth the cost. We found the people really helpful and no issues on return. We would definitely recommend this local family run business.

I'm confident I wouldn't rent from anyone else in Cairns in the future. The cars are clean and in fantastic condition. Staff are friendly and helpful. Price is better than anywhere else with comparable vehicles up here!

We had a great experience with Mini Car Rentals. Helpful and honest staff, easy after hours drop off and great quality cars. The one we rented still had that new car smell. Would definitely recommend to anyone & would use again.
